Hello members!
We sincerely hope you had a relaxing and restorative summer break. As we get ready to launch the 2023-24 school year we wanted to put out a few reminders.
- Please wear your green GEA t-shirts on Monday to the Convocation at GHS.
- The GEA will have some announcements at the end of the Convocation so please plan on staying.
- The GEA eBoard has decided to endorse mayoral candidate Ginny Desorgher. There may be an opportunity to march with her during the Franklin County Fair Parade.
- The Annual GEA fall meeting will be on Wednesday, 9/13, at 3:30 at GHS. There will be door prizes and we can answer any questions you may have.
- We are looking for an interim Unit C Chairperson and an interim Treasurer, and building reps are always welcome from Unit A and Unit C. GEA meetings are held monthly on the 1st Tuesday at GHS at 3:15.
- GEA will have updates after the first staff meeting of each month and recommends folks plan to stay for these regular updates.
- Reminder for Unit A folks to submit time sheets for up to 4 hours of classroom prep time before 8/28.
- The GEA Facebook page is up and running again. Follow/Like Us!
